Drippigment is an exquisite and temperamental machine that collaborates with humans in the production of aquarelle paintings.
It presents a nostalgic approach with the aim of bringing back the usage of human body for an artistic experience and reflects upon how new emerging interactions influence preconceived notions of painting.
In itself Drippigment is an outlier, inevitably forcing us to question our very own preconceived notion of what our creation really is. Composition and aesthetics are in this scenario; an expression of human nature and a tool for recontextualizing concepts.
Presented in Porto, Bergamo, Hong Kong, Brighton and New York.
